Woah just noticed today, pretty use it wasnt like this a couple of days ago. Must be in response to 2D pricing

Now a $40 plan now gives you 300 texts
$60plan is now 600 texts. It used to be in order to have 600 txts, you had to go on the $80 plan.

I think the included minutes has changed too.!

This will be perfect if they keep this for Iphone 4g!

Will the people like myself who sign for the old quota get the benefit of the new amounts? Or will I have to wait out the next 23 or so months..

I've asked the same question of Paul Brislen on the VFNZ forums.

Hopefully he'll give a definitive answer.

According to http://www.vodafone.co.nz/iphone/plans.jsp the minutes haven't changed. I was hoping I could jump down to the $60 plan if it had increased minutes.

That little change is going to lead to a massive increase in the number of customer signing up for iPhone plans.

Ah the $40 iPhone plan has jumped from 20 mins to 30 mins as well.

It looks like I have to wait until my next billing period for these changes to reflect on my account (assuming existing customers get these new upgraded benifits as well).

The changes also apply to a Smart plan for any smart phone, not just iPhones.

Still think 250mb per month is too light.

Once the 3gb per month ends in July, it'll be very hard to stay below 250mb. I am averaging 1.5gb per month at the moment.

Time to uninstall that torrent app :)
I don't know how you use so much data. I use maps, mail, web browsing, app store on 3G and barely get above 200MB a month. Then again I don't stream youtube or anything.

Agree - what are you doing to use that much data?  or are you tethering?

AT&T also changed their Iphone / Ipad pricing on thursday - Probably unrelated but maybe Apple are taking a smaller cut now.

Be watchful - My billing cycle cut over on the 10th and the additional texts were not added to my plan (Iphone $60) - CSR added them manually after I was told by the first CSR the Voda website was incorrect. <Sigh>!

Well it's after my bill cycle now as well and the extra minutes/texts are not loaded.... Is this a known issue Vodafone? Do I have to call 777? I can't really be bothered explaining it to a poor english speaking CSR

Christine Williams from Vodafone told me that current iPhone plan customers will get the upgrade soon and are currently working on it.
