They sold out around the country within 4 hours on Friday afternoon. It's pretty much worldwide.

John, Vodafone AU says they are expecting their next shipment this week. Could Vodafone NZ be expecting the same?

Australia received another shipment today (apple stores and some telcos) - hard to say about numbers, but people were saying the apple stores had bucket loads and still have stock for sale tomorrow

The quickest way to get one is via the online Apple store.

They won't because I believe they just don't know when it comes to Apple. On recent evidence, clearly if they did know, they still wouldn't tell you anyway.

You're stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to Apple and VFNZ. The fact that new stock will only be purchasable on contract anyway for the forseeable future is a further slap in the face, so I encourage everyone to bypass VFNZ and order direct from Apple. What you do with the phone then is entirely up to you. I'm hoping VFNZ will not be able to survive as sole iPhone distributor simply on the coat tails of its parent much longer.

Choices are good.

So where are all the phones for NZ? Seems like the Aussies are getting stocked.

Surely they should be flowing through the Apple store too? I put an order in and it's still stuck on 20/8/10.
