Hey Guys,
I have a 3GS iphone running on XT. everything is working fine... EXCEPT I can't use get the data to work.... I have got a new SIM card, entered all the telecom carrier setting etc....
But I still get the "Could not activate cellular data" popping up every time I try and access anything.
Anyone got a any fixes? or anything I could try? it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

David

Sounds like the APN, have you entered one at Settings -> general -> network -> Cellular Data network?

Not sure what it is for XT, I know 2Degree's doesn't auto populate this.

I have already gone to iphonenewzealand.co.nz and entered all the setting as per telecom.... I have checked them a few times as well as I thought I may have made a typo or something, but no I'm sure they are all right.
And apparently I had an old telecom SIM so I got a replacement one from telecom today..... but that hasn't fixed it either. so I'm in a little bit of a pickle!

Have you done some basic troubleshootng? For example have you tried your SIM card in a friend's phone you know it is working?

This will likely point out if it is a problem in your account (it doesn't work in another phone) or on your configuration (it does work in another phone).
