This in my email today:

Hello,

You have registered to be notified when the iPhone 4 will be back in stock online at www.vodafone.co.nz/iphone/iphone4.

This is to let you know that the iPhone 4 will be available online after 9am on Thursday 26th August.

The iPhone is only available to be purchased with a new 24 month iPhone contract - either by getting a new number, moving from Prepay to On Account, or re-signing from your existing contract.

If you are re-signing you must be eligible for a resign, and fees may apply – please check your eligibility at http://www.vodafone.co.nz/plans/ending-your-contract/?q=ending%20contract

If you wish to buy the phone on prepay or on its own, please go through www.apple.co.nz.

Stock is very limited so get in quick, and although we will endeavour to monitor stock levels closely, because multiple orders will be being placed at the same time, we cannot guarantee that stock will not run out before your order is fulfilled.

You will be contacted on the outcome of your order within 3 working days – please be patient as we are expecting high order volumes with this release and will be doing our best to get your order processed as soon as possible.

Have a nice day.

Kind regards

Heh. So folks who want to own the phone outright still have to take advantage of the "Free, Fast" 4 week delivery on the Apple store.

# SubZero Buying online from Voda they dont activate the micro SIM automatically and you need to do this when you are ready.

see http://www.vodafone.co.nz/iphone/micro-sim.jsp

If you are purchasing your iPhone 4 through our online shop, call 777 or visit a Vodafone store once you receive your iPhone 4 and Micro SIM to swap your mobile number onto your new Micro SIM card.

Anyone that ordered received an email confirmation? It looks like they have docked my credit card, but haven't heard anything yet.

I noticed that two, but I logged back into My Account and checked Under connections right hand side And clicked on orders & tracking and I can see my order there under shop orders for my new iPhone. So order is there being processed.
