Hi I have brought my Iphone 4 should arrive soon, my question is however.

I will be traveling and need a way (other then using data) to save my 720p videos of my trip. I want to buy a

Iomega iConnect Wireless Data Station

and a USB 2.5" hard drive

I wont be taking a laptop with me. I want to upload content from my iPhone to this drive over WIFI.

this iConnect Station has a web based file viewer with delete/upload options

Will this work with my Iphone in the way I want it to work?

anyone shine some light on this subject, would be kindly received.

cheers

the specs says is supports picture transfer

"Picture Transfer Protocol allows pictures to be loaded to the Iomega
iConnect by plugging a compatible camera into a USB port."

why don't you email omega and ask them if the iphone is supported
and ask them if what you want to do is possible

another idea is dropbox, which you may have all ready heard of
There is  a dropbox  iphone app (free). allows you to upload pics and video from your iphone, and read documents you've uploaded.
you can also share to other users.
it does require internet access but you maybe able to find free wifi there's an app for that to :)

might be work considering as a backup, dropbox 2gb is free

Having sailed over here from the UK and passed thru over 20 countries I can tell you that you may find wifi a bit hit and miss; depends on where you're going...
