running iOS 4.1
once connected to pc i try to transfer all photos and videos from "external hard drive" which is the iphone

but the transfer (and windows explorer) hangs have to unplug the iphone and carry on and it happens again and again

any ideas?

oh running win 7 64. have latest itunes 64. internet tethering on but that shouldnt matter should it?

I have been noticing since 4.1 that when syncing ( iPhone 4 to iMac ) it has been stalling and been getting the beachball everytime.

If I leave it it comes right after a couple of mins. But I also just open iPhoto and they are there. Don't need to sync to iTunes
