Hi Guys,

This week my iphone has been spending a remarkable amount of time in "Ribbonwood Crescent". For some reason the location services are unable to get a better fix unless i actually go outside so GPS can get a lock... The accuracy circle shows a range of Whangarei to Hamilton so technically i guess I am with it.

Im on XT and actually located at the top end of Hobson st, Auckland. Anyone else seen anything like this? Does XT have some new sites in Auckland that skyhook or whatever google uses to derrive a lat / long doesn't know about?

Any info would be much appriciated!

I don't suppose you've tried the same SIM in another iPhone or iPad (or Android even) to see if they do it too?

VodafoneNZ have my iPhone 4 away being fixed so i can't test. Only have my 3GS. If Vodafone has correctly labled it when they sent it off to Brightpoint i might have got it back today, but it looks like it will be Friday at the earliest. Not that im dark on the subject!
