Running the latest iTunes?

I've had different problems, namely videos taken on my phone are being shown as photos in the usage bar.

Time for a trouble ticket to apple... I need to get around to doing one myself. But lazy on the weekends :-)

is there a limit for how many photo's can be synced at once? It gets to 1272 of 1909 photos and the error pops up and none of the "synced" photos show up on my iPod but that usage meter on the bottom of iTunes says its got half a GB of photo's on there still. :/

Hey,

Try this:

My solution was -

1) Close iTunes

2) Rename C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAMEHERE\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes

3) Rename C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAMEHERE\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes

4) Open iTunes

Worked on 2 other -50 errors I have seen...

Did you try a reboot of your computer?
I had that or a similar error the other day and almost had a heart attack before I remembered the old "try a restart". Guess I was in panic mode, lol.

Yeh I rebooted the computer many times and nothings changed. I managed to get my pictures over but selecting a few folders at once and hitting sync, it seems to be only able to handle a few hundred in one go :/

Also, are you running it directly out of a usb port or using a hub? Try directly into a usb port.

A reinstall of itunes might work. Could be the Apple Mobile usb driver is screwed up. Happens sometimes. On one occasion I just reinstalled the driver after downloading it but itunes also reinstalls it so most people just do a reinstall of itunes.

Also as I recall Apple's site has a list of error codes and suggestions for fixes, might do to pay their web site a visit to check that out.

Reinstall iTunes. Failing that restore your iPhone but this time do it from DFU mode.
