if you haven't tried this app its great, and yes it cross platform so this could have gone in the android, or blackberry section.

If you are fed up with msn, and skype and taking ages to log in and then delayed messaging, this is a simple no frills FAST app, and supports push notifications.

And its free, go to KIK.com for more info.

this sounds like sales pitch, i was just really impressed with it, a few annoyances, no profile pics, contacts dont sync with address book and you cant turn of home screen previews. but apart from that its really good, and saves me a fortune with overseas texts, it not a case of being on or offline, its simply sent, delivered, and read. or not as it indicates.

no offline, invisible, away, busy, available, knitting, listening to Justin Beiber or whatever status you use, there is no need.

And they are working on making it better.

that is all.

simple logic.

Whatsapp is similar and my current messaging app of choice as I have more contacts using it than kik.
