Did I miss something? I'm sure when the iPad came out, you could purchase 250MB or 3GB data access, and it would last a month. I went to top up my data, since my last purchase was on 15 Oct 2010, but the purchase page says that the credit doesn't expire until 15 Oct 2011! Did VF announce changes? This is great. That, together with the unofficial 3GB for the iPhone instead of the official 250MB will keep me with VF. I was gonna switch to XT in December when my mobile plan expires, but I think I'll stick around....

the credit doesn't expire for 1 year, but the data plan you select expires after one month. this is the same for Voda as it is for XT and 2Degrees, and always has been the case.

e.g. you topup $80 on jan 1st. you then buy a $50 data plan.
You now have 3GB of data that expires on 31st Jan, and $30 of credit ($80-$50=$30)  that, if not used, will expire on dec 31st of that year.

Sure the credit you talk of does not mean your money? I have heard of vodafone data allowances lasting 2 months though.

I went for XT's prepaid on the iPad. There pay as you go model suits me far better the Vodafone's upfront model.
