Hello all

I currently have an iphone on a 300 per month txt plan which is not enough, and 20c per extra txt is expensive!

Can anyone recommend any good apps which uses a 3rd party to send sms messages? I currently have biteSMS, where you can top up your biteSMS account and send txts through that, but it's a bit expensive to top that up.

I'm hoping I can get something to get me an extra 300 txts for ~$10. Or maybe I should just upgrade to the $60 plan...

You could always try switching telco to one who offers more texts with cheaper overage. Such as us. :)

On Telecom, that $10 would get you close to 2000 any-net text messages. Why would you want to pay that for 300?

You can use the free Heywire app to text free to most countries. The down side is that the texts come from a US phone number, so if your texts are to NZ numbers people will probably not know its you, and object to texting you back to an international number.
