To take a screenshot of your screen hold the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time until the screen flashes, then the screenshot will be in the photos app.

dpw: Are iPhone home screens customisable at all? If so, to what extent beyond changing the wallpaper? If you can only change wallpapers I don't see a huge point to this thread :)
I really enjoy the home screen thread in the Android forum because they are very customisable, including oodles of different widgets, layouts, docks, etc.
