I have Air Video (which has been updated to support Airplay in iOS 4.3)

I am figuring an Apple TV2 will give me cheap media center capabilities?

- I should be able to hook the ATV2 upto our TV+AV receiver + wired network
- I should then be able to access all itunes content (music libs etc.) and the photo folder I've shared for ATV2
- Then all the non iTunes videos I want to view I can just do via air video

Can anyone see any flaws?

+1 for ATV2 + XBMC. I just got one yesterday and got it all set up ( still not 100%) but was able to watch a x264 mkv 1080p bluray rip of iron man 2 with 5.1 streamed from my Mac.

I still am yet to get the box covers and tv series info al sorted but so far I'm lovin it
