Hey Guys

Just got an iPhone. XD

Now I cant decide on a case. Can you guys recommend some good ones that are stylish as well as protective.

I have these in mind at the moment...
- Switcheasy Vulcan
- incase Snap Case
- Griffin Reveal

I really like the reveal as it has a clear back. But it apparaently affects the camera and the back can get scratched easily..

What do you think? OR recommend?

Speck hd pixel skin with Belkin Clearview screen protector.

Good rubber feel on bottom and good all over protection. My wife and I have the same.
Tried Zagg protection and didnt like it. Application was risky and the skin peeled back first time it came near my pocket.

Check out the Chillicase range. My wife has one for her iPhone and it offers pretty good protection without bulking up the phone too much. I have a Gecko Vision, which not only bulks up the phone significantly, but the back also is very prone to scratches.

In a recent discussion here, someone purchased the Griffin Reveal, which is similar to the Vision, but he said that it shouldn't scratch as easily due to the rubberized rim preventing the back from resting directly on surfaces.

if you like hard cases it's great.

I'm currently using a black/silver elementcase vapor 4 and have replaced the glass back with a brushed silver metal, looks absolutely mean.

I've also got an otterbox but find it too bulky

I'm using the incase Snap Case which Apple gave away through their free bumper promotion. It's a hard shell case, with a smoked clear plastic that lets you see through to the back, but gives it a cool smokey look. I'm also using front and rear screen protectors (a rear protector, after I heard about people getting cracked rear glass from dirt getting in behnd the case, and rubbing against the glass). What I like about the Snap Case is that it doesn't add a lot of bulk (in fact, it stops the iPhone from feeling too thin and slippery), so it still fits into most docks (including the original ipod dock).

The shell has taken a beating in the last 9 months, and saved the phone a few times. I've found cracks and scratches on the case which otherwise would be on the phone, which is still flawless.

Yea.. I am looking at the snap case at the moment and the smoke version too. Have you got some photos to show it off? :)

Don't know about showing off - the camera I used to take the photos doesn't really show it off. But here you go. Apologies if the photos are too large/too small (never embedded photos in a post before)

What I like about it is it doesn't interfere with the dock, it's robust and protects the phone, it's not rubbery, and has the right amount of slick without being slippery, and it doesn't show up scratches and look battered. About the only thing that I might gripe about is that it does pick up smudges and fingermarks, but it wipes off so easily, it's barely worth mentioning.

I bought a different case when I got the phone, and picked this one up free through Apple's Bumper program. I tried it on, thinking I might swap them out from time to time. 9 months later, I'm still using it.
