So it looks like Apple has announced that iOS5 and iCloud will be announced at WWDC.

JimmyC: I agree. But not having an iPhone announcement is a big dissapointment for many people\journalists. Knowing (ie: has been confirmed) that we'll finally hear about iCloud is almost as big.
It's all about degrees of hype I guess. This is still going to be big AND it doesn't involve new hardware. Replacing one hype topic with another I see as being important to Apple.
