Is it ok to charge an iPhone4 with the 10W charger cable that comes with the iPad?

Hopefully it won't matter as it will charge at the iPhone4's charging rate and not at the higher rate?

Yes ( or at least I hope so, as that's how I charge mine everyday)

Short answer is yes. The only issue is going the other way. I standard low wattage USB supply will not change a ipad.

Actually it does, the iPad will say Not Charging, but it does , slowly

So just to clarify; If I have both an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2, I should use the power adapter that came with the iPad 2 to charge both devices, and not use the iPhone 4 one for both?

I read online that using my ipad 1's charger with a 3gs will kill the battery. But charges nice n quick!




Toys:  iphone 4s; PS3 good times.  13inch macbook pro.   ipad 3. Ã¯Â£Â¿ 27inch imac.   airport express & time machine. raspberry-pi running xbmc and a gopro try hard.
