Well.. I've got my new iPhone 4S and am looking for a "better" iPhone 4S Case .

I got a Silicon Case from chillicase.co.nz which is nice looking but its just too soft and the iPhone slips out of it all the time :-( Putting it in my pocket half the time when I take it out the phone has slipped out of the case.

Also as the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S side buttons are slightly different and they don't line up properly (making the vibrate switch a little hard to use (but the volume buttons seem to work fine))

Maybe a slightly harder rubber case but I don't want to spend $30-$40 each time to try a case just not to like it.

I've checked and no one in NZ has iPhone 4S cases as far as I can tell . I'm looking for something which looks nice AND protects all the sides and corners. The biggest problem with phones is the dropping of it and the thin nice looking cases seem to give no protection at all for dropping them on the corners.

I love the Incipio cases from Dick Smith.

Feel good, look good, protect well. I have the dual layer one which has extra protection on the corners.

They seem to be for the iPhone 4 and looking at the pictures due to the difference in the spacing of the button they won't fit the iPhone 4S

Any case that works on the CDMA iPhone 4 will work. The vibrate switch is in the same place as them.

I have the speck flip which although it does add some bulk is reviewed very well for providing a good level of protection. Looking at mine the silent switch has just shy of 2mm clearance on all sides so may be OK with the 4 case?

I got an incipio case in the weekend for my 4s, fits nicely and it's quite a slim case, still.. it does feel so much better without one!

I bought 7 counterfeit bumper cases off ebay for $14USD. Comparing them to the legit apple ones the only difference is the rubber edging is a tiny bit more rigid. Otherwise.....7 (in different colours) for less than half the price!
Bingo!!

I got a couple of the fake bumpers and they lasted only a few weeks. Never tried a real bumper to know if they last longer

I've recently bought one of these:

http://twelvesouth.com/products/bookbook_iphone/

The only downside is that it doesn't have a hole in the back for the back facing camera but apart from that it is very sturdy and well built meaning it'll provide great production especially if you drop it from a decent height.
