I am wanting to buy a new I Pad for a birthday. Knowing it is difficult to find any Apple products that are discounted, hoping someone can tell me where to find the cheapest I Pads? Or are they similarly priced everywhere both in store and online?
Thanks for your help

The Apple Store also has refurbished iPad 2s from $719 (that's the normal price, not part of today's Black Friday specials).

2024 Mac mini M4 | 2025 iPad Air 13" M3 (Blue) | 2025 iPad Air 11" M3 (Starlight) | iPhone 15 Pro Max (Natural Titanium) | HomePod (Space Grey) | 10x HomePod mini (Space Grey, White, Yellow, Blue, Orange) | 4x Apple TV 4K | Apple Watch Ultra 2

Outside of today - I'd recommend getting a refurb from Apple's online store - as they have their Black Friday sale on today, it appears that all the refurbs have lost their discounts - I guess to push people towards the new stock in the sale.

Ordinarily you can save 10-15% and you get a unit that looks and feels new (they come with a new screen, case, battery and charger) and of course a 1 year warranty.

The beauty of the refurb program is that they have more checks and inspections than "new" units, so they're likely to be more reliable.

The box is usually a plain white one with an Apple logo on it, but that's no biggie if you're not a box collector.

I've bought several refurbs over the years and find them to be great!
