I wonder if anyone can help me - my sister has an iPad2 which is running the last iOS4 version of software. She's just got a new PC running Windows 7 (new as in bought last week). She's downloaded iTunes and is attempting to update to iOS5 - unfortunately she's had a time out (after 3 hours) on what was stated to be a 29 hour download.
Unfortunately, she's in Hastings and I'm in Wellington!
Also unfortunately (for her) I run Mac computers so don't really know where & what to check on hers.
Even more unfortunately, the after sales service people from Computer Connection where the computer comes from seem to be of little help.
She's on a Telecom broadband plan.
She can't tell me the specs of her new computer either.
Can someone tell me what she should do or be checking (at a 'dummies' level) to sort this problem out.
(Or is there someone from Hastings/Napier who is clued up enough to actually go sort it out for them!)
