So I just got all excited about txt books on iBooks 2 to be disappointed to find jack all on there. Is this for US customers only!!?

Don't know about text books, but there are a few NZ universities and polys on the itunes U. Unfortionately some only seem to be using it as a form of advertising. It does seem quite limited at the moment, but a couple of interesting lectures on it.

Yeah the itunes U seems like its got a bit of stuff on it. Some of the MIT courses are great. Its shame about the text books though. feel like NZ is always missing out on some these best features.

I don't think it is that NZ is intentionally being left out. I think it's more to do with NZ copyright issues on the books than anything else (which is why it is just the out of copyright titles on ibooks). Im sure that if Apple had any way to make money of NZers buys books/textbooks through iTunes, it would be done.
