My wife's iphone 4s (amongst other stuff) was stolen from her car a couple of hours ago.  I went to "find my phone" on the icloud but unfortunately the thief has made it offline.  Is there any other good ideas how I might be able to locate the scum!

If you can't locate it, at least report stolen to your nearest police station, then contact Vodafone and Telecom to have the IMEI locked so it can never be used again on these networks.

Might be worth sending a text to it with offer of a $50 reward if returned and say if not returned you'll render it useless. I'm sure a thief would rather have $50 than a shiny paperweight, although I guess it'd still work find as a glorified iPod touch.

Yeah agree with this. Done this last week when my sister's iPhone 4s stolen too. :( Nothing much you can do. Still too bad 2D can't have the IMEI locked.
