Yesterday I semi accidentally reset my iPad using the reset stuff found in the Settings > General tab. It then asked me if I wanted to restore using iTunes or iCloud. I was away from home so opted for the iCloud option.

Once this was complete, I noticed my photos and my music had gone, but I thought no problem, I can sync via iTunes on my laptop when I get home.

I'm now at home and when I try and sync, an error message comes up on the laptop saying "The  iPad [name] cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all the items in the iTunes library (additional 8.35 GB required)"

The iPad itself shows that not all of the memory storage is being used but iTunes indicates that I am way over the capacity of the iPad. I have no idea what is going on and would welcome any advice.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
