Just looking for some cheap DDR3 desktop memory to upgrade a couple of PCs so my partner & I can do some gaming together.

Anything considered, not fussed on matched pairs, 2 or 4GB sticks preferred but 1GB will do the job.

Thanks.

I've got 4GB Kingston DDR3-10600 but was hoping to swap it for DDR2 as per this thread if you've got that.

Would take note that the ram is PC3-8500E (E being the important thing) which means it is unbuffered ECC memory. Most desktop boards wont support this as it is generally for high end workstations and servers

Well darn, didn't realise. I'm after just bog standard DDR3 for a couple of desktop PCs.

Looks like I'm still on the hunt then, sorry harlansmart.

If the DDR3 I've got is suitable you can have that, will check when I get home, 2 x 2GB, just need to check the speed grade.

Just checked, it's 4GB (2x2GB) of DDR3 Kingston KVR1333D3N9, so PC3-10600. PM me if you'd like it, in particular if you're in Auckland I'll be in the city tomorrow and can bring it with me
