Hi GZ community,
My son loves chickens and wants a pet one, my wife has twisted my arm (cause i need another project - haha) and we are now looking for a coop, im not wanting to purchase one new but i was hoping someone might have one that they dont need anymore and looking to get rid of it for a reasonable price.

We are located in Auckland but im happy to travel a little way for the right one

A little off topic but we had chickens (you can't just have one) for a few years in Auckland, let me know if you need any advice (we were inexperienced too).

Just to reiterate. You should not have just one. Chickens are sociable birds and at a minimum you need a pair (preferably 3) for their wellbeing.

Auckland bylaws are a max of 6 for land lower than 2000m2.

Also interested. I have a sloped section which I was thinking of building a mobile coop + contain run area, where one could move the entire unit between sections of said slope, so the chickens had new ground to roam on.

The little things make the biggest difference.
