I tried the Logitech support route recently with no joy so ended up getting one on eBay for $12 delivered.

Telephoned Logitech support earlier today about a lost unifying receiver, intending to find out where I can buy one without shelling for an unnecessary mouse to go with it. Went something like: there is no local spares/replacement store, but they offered to take down my address and will send one free of charge if one of the Asia/Pacific offices finds one lying around. There's no guarantee of getting a free replacement, but I appreciate that they made the offer.
