Nice! I have three of them lying around with blobs saved - one bought on GZ for $100! Maybe I should sell up!

You should. I sold my atv2 for $350 a couple of weeks ago. Didn't believe it until they paid up. I jailbroke it and installed XBMC which seemed to attract more attention.

Yip, thats what lots of them ( including mine) are used for, XBMC is a great client for a remote video library sitting on a home NAS
