Kopkiwi: Come on people. This is a great price for a top of the line projector.

This isn't what I would consider the ideal place to try and sell it, try audioenz?

why don't u build a big tower stand that goes behind the couch.  Could use a pvc pipe then put a weight on the front leg. legs go under couch so not seen. cable goes down middle of pipe.

Yeah I had something like that. But wife wasn't impressed. Not that I'm complaining, she wants something more expensive lol

Awesome. Glad you like em. If you decide to go with the projector I can knock a bit off for you.

Well based on some quick searches on Ebay that's an additional expense which put this over the edge for me

you can actually get the emitter quite cheap as their is a hack for a cheaper estar emitter that works with multiple brands of glasses. If you check out AVSForumn there is a thread on the HC9700DW that tells you how to do the mod - joining a few wires.

I have this projector and can say its friggin awesome!! I havent even played around trying to calibrate it yet as the picture out of the box is so great.

I havent gone down the 3D path yet as I dont really see the need as I just enjoy the movies in 2D but from what I have read this projector does 3D well.

You won't find a projector that does 3d better at an overall cheaper price.

I am really keen (and have been since you originally listed it as for sale) but with Christmas coming up, its an expense I would have to look carefully at.  How keen are you to sell? (As in how much bargaining room is there on the price?).

This looks like a great projector, and like 'networkn' I have previously has just a projector as a TV and it was fantastic!  And that was just a 720p.
