Really pissed off that I have to sell this, arrived, installed, picture doesn't work for my room. My ceiling is too low and room too small.
Retails at $3800, was not purchased in New Zealand so unsure how the warranty would work, but assume there isn't one. I have turned it on to make sure it's working and the picture IS amazing. Original box etc.

Happy to ship, but it will be at your expense.

Christchurch pick up is fine.

This is an absolutely top of the line projector and price is non negotiable. If it doesn't sell for what it's worth, then I keep it. Simple as that.

Price is $2200

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

How many projectors do you sell if you have a person that takes such exception to it ?

3.

Had a DLP, sold it because we moved and had no TV connection for 6 months, was pointless to keep.

Moved to a new place, bought an LCD, didn't like the look, sold it and bought this new DLP, doesn't bloody fit in my friggin room.

bummer man sad to hear that it isn't right for your room, I know you were pretty excited about getting this. I wonder if it would help to list the throw/picture size details here so someone purchasing doesn't have the same issue.

thanks man, I am really gutted. Was looking forward to getting this projector set up, but unless I cut holes in the ceiling (I rent so no chance) then I have an expensive paper weight.

The HC7900DW offers a 1.5:1 zoom ratio.

To fill the usual 100″ 16:9 diagonal screen, the front of the projector can be as close as 10.17 feet from the screen, or as far back as 15.1 feet.  That’s pretty typical.

Oh no! Sorry to here this won't work for you in your room. Is there no way to table mount it?

For those of you looking at buying this projector I have this projector model and can vouch how awesome it is.

My room was set up based on the Epson 5010, which has mental amounts of lens shift.

Think I am just going to keep it, cannot be bothered farting around with selling it.

Aaaaand still for sale. Wife isn't happy with how I have it set up, too ugly apparently. Sure you all know that it requires wife approval for the aesthetics. This doesn't meet the requirements. Photos attached too

Do it for $1500.

Pretty reasonable given it's still $3600 at Rapalloav. If you're in Christchurch can throw in a 120" for $200

Slightly OT but I also replaced an Epson SD projector with a Vivitek HD projector which didn't have the same throw range. So I could not mount it in my cabinet at the rear of the room and keep the image small enough to fit my 100" screen.

So I have to put it on a small table which has lowish WAF but she would rather that than having somebody come in and cut out the ceiling to mount it there together with all the cables :-)

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.
