Well I and Dial111 both get about $186 tax so you must be something special. In my case the tax is US$130.59 so at say 71c that is $183.

I would suggest you take the Amazon deal.

Bump. Last offer before I crack it open and use it myself  $820 plus shipping (if required),

Slightly reluctant to keep it only because I have a Moto Z and all the Moto Mods (including a projector) and so I am invested in that ecosystem even though the Essential is probably a much better phone (with all the software updates that have happened)

Dude, someone offered $800! Is the $20 worth that much to you?

You can get them off Trademe now for $829 with a full 1 year warranty via Dick Smith so I’d take the $800 offer if it still stands.

That wasn’t an offer. I was advising you to take the earlier offer of $800 someone made. I wouldn’t pay $800, hence my initial offer of what it cost, $700.

Yep, locked in NZD $795 delivered from Amazon. It sounded too cheap, so I had to check.

Yikes, I'm half tempted. Did they sort out the camera with software updates?
