I picked up an Essential black 128GB phone over Christmas (thanks to a friend coming over from the US). Had planned to switch over to it but on reflection, given all my investment in Moto Mods (I have a Moto Z with the battery mod, JBL speaker and courtesy of a GZ member, the projector), I thought I would not use the Essential phone.

Before I consider sticking it on Trademe, just wondering if any GZ members were interested in the phone. It's new in box but of course but would not have a warranty apart from possibly shipping it back to Amazon who are pretty good with these sort of things.

I saw a couple on Trademe same model for $1010 so $875 or make me a reasonable offer.

I would go $700 which is what I assume it cost given the exchange rate.

Coil:

$499 USD currently (690 NZD @ 17/01) , https://www.amazon.com/Essential-Phone-Unlocked-Display-Camera/dp/B074BWGRKH/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1516167605&sr=8-1&keywords=essential++phone+128

Get it sent to youshop, set the value at $1.
Profit.

I am sure Youshop would question the $1 value since they open all items. Then you might just lose it there.

And if you declare it correctly there is GST to pay plus customs clearance.

I am just offering to remove all that hassle but it's up to the buyer.

But I will take $840

We must be looking at different pages.

This is what I got when I tried to purchase from amazon.

$639US is about $925NZ

Anyway since I didn't receive any reasonable offers I'll probably just keep the phone and use myself.

Yep I got roughly the same price, OP price is a good deal, however most people never want to pay advertised price as if it's not a good price when it clearly is
