Someone mentioned aliexpress recently too, as a possible source of second hand cards.
Didn't expect that would even be a thing, but the user reviews all sound positive.

I have ended up getting a RX 580 8G from Amazon for $300 inc delivery

Just need to sell my GTX 760 now.

If you’re quick to cancel your order there are some RX580’s here: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=77&topicid=245030 - you can likely get one for quite a bit cheaper if you PM the OP with an offer.

Assuming they’re still available.

No worries, quick google came up with:

RX 580 - 500W min https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/asus-radeon-rx-580-strix-review,5.html

GTX 760 - 550W min https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/geforce-gtx-760-review,5.html

I was running a GTX 760 on less than 550W, and pretty sure the PSU powering it in my daughters PC is only 400W.

Those recommendations are more for covering their own butt I think to avoid anyone going "its not working".

Also as generally the sub 550w wont have enough GPU power connectors or they might have those annoying 6 pin ones without the extra 2 to make it an 8.

Its all good, not a lot in price and I get warrenty etc... Thanks though.

I have a 650w PSU, currently borrowing a 280x and my rig runs that ok. Just waiting for the new card to arrive.
