After looking into Shelly 1 PM and I'm now thinking of monitoring and controlling the hot water cylinder.

 

 

 

Not sure of the wattage of the HWC but shelly 1PM limit is 3.5KW

I can understand monitoring, but controlling..... Get that wrong and it will take a while to heat up again.
