Yes, there is a receipt. It's back in my office but it's from one of the major retailers - JP or PB I think. That's where I got the original sale date from.

In your original post you said it had 8GB of RAM, but later in reply to my question about comparing to the i5, you said 16GB.

 

Could you please clarify how much RAM it has.

sorry, this has taken longer than I expected.

 

Dad has been to a retailer and checked out the 13" and 15" for size.

 

He definitely wants a 15" device.
