Almost new, only 10 weeks old, warranty til July '21.

In my opinion, HP's Envy & Spectre ranges are about the best combination of quality build & cool style available today. Added bonus of no Apple badge so you don't have to pay too much.

2020 HP Envy 360 x2 Convertible

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U @ 2.1GHz
RAM: 8GB DDR4 expandable to 32GB
SSD: 256GB NVMe expandable to 2TB
Graphics: Radeon Vega 8 on FHD

Being a 360 x2, stand it up in landscape mode or flip the screen right over for full tablet functionality.

New retail $1698

Geekzone price $1200

Thanks, that’s the one I did find, but assume it’s a slightly different spec as this HN one has a Ryzen 3 whereas the one you’re selling is a Ryzen 5? Too many variations I guess!

Cheers.

When you flip the k/b back for tablet mode does the k/b become inactive so you dont get accidental key presses?

Ah, yes, good spotting. Why, Google, when I ask you for Envy AR0017 AU, do you make the #1 returned result for a different model? Grrr.

Here's the real link. Full model code = HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0017au

Hell yes, it certainly does - just flip it & relax, there will be no gravitationally-created keyboard madness @ all. I'm yet to find any sub-standard features / functions on this or any other Envy I've had.

Interesting, I think my Dad would like one of these, but in a 15.6" size.

He has 2 clapped out laptops and a Samsung tablet that doesn't play well anymore.

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone here.

Must go shopping.

I have one of these (just over a year old) and hate the thing. Had all sorts of fan issues (running the fan constantly and noisy, then the fan rubbing/buzzing constantly), ended up giving up getting HP to fix it and bought the parts on Ali and fixed it myself for however long it lasts. I think the Lenovo's and MS Surface machines I have are far superior TBH.

Unbelievable. There's another forum for this subject.

How exactly is it inappropriate to comment on first hand knowledge of a product? People have mentioned how they think its a wonderful laptop, well buyer beware is my feedback and its entirely appropriate.

Oh my gosh, you do not see the inappropriate nature of an uninvited negative opinion on a for sale post? Really?

Do you think your contribution assisted the original purpose of the post? Or would you say it detracted?

As your opinion is obviously changeable & your emotional outburst seems driven by the noise a fan makes, I'm wondering if that fan went quiet, would your opinion revert to where it was when you bought the Envy?

Also, you're prepared to make alternate recommendations based on, well, you've offered nothing to support those. Are they based on vicarious knowledge? Because I'd for sure say that uninformed negative opinion in this thread is inappropriate.

If you want to sell something on a forum then you don't get to silence anyone who has an opinion on the product you are trying to sell. If you want to control the narrative so there is no "uninvited negative opinion" then sell it on trademe where you have control over peoples feedback. I have the laptop you are trying to sell, it was returned to HP twice for repairs within 8 months of purchase and still did not get properly fixed. Your product may just fine, but the one I bought turned out to be of a much lower quality that I expected and I am entitled to express my opinion as this is not your personal forum.

Do note here, I have not made any personal attacks on you, just commented on the product you are attempting to sell on this forum. I would ask that you restrain yourself from further inappropriate personal attacks.
