Edit: OK dropping to $900 or $800 with a core i3-530. Come on guys with 3 months free colocation! Remember that the $900 is a Xeon x3440 with hyperthreading.

Hey guys,
I have a 1u Supermicro server that has just finished on contract with an overseas customer who no longer requires it. As such its sitting idle now so thought it may be time to sell ;)

Specs are:
- Xeon x3430 quad core with hyperthreading (shows as 8 logical cores to your OS)
- Supermicro x8sil-f motherboard (with built in IPMI for emulated keyboard/mouse/video plugged into the server via the web)
- 4GB DDR3 1333 ECC RAM (can be upgraded to 32GB for about 40USD per 4GB when I put my next order through from the states)
- 60GB SSD SATA2 (can take up to 2x 2.5" drives or 1x 3.5")
- Short depth (only around 330mm)
- Can mount directly on the front ears but sliding rails available for an extra $100

I'll include 3 months free colocation with unmetered traffic @ 100mbps (fair use international applies)

Really looking for someone who wants to purchase then colocate long term :)

It has only ever been run in a fully air filtered and conditioned data centre and when I opened it up tonight it looks practically brand new.

Looking for around $1100 or so at this stage.

*server is 2nd from top in rack photo

Roughly what is the monthly $$ for co-location after the 3 free months? PM me if you're not comfortable with posting it publicly.

No problems posting that here. It's $100 per month. Pretty flexible with IP addressing (including routed subnets if you want to virtualize a router) and not too worried about international unless you are using 100s of GB (in which case we can organize something).

Includes 2 switchports (the 2nd for the IPMI card)

Bump - willing to go $1000 or less if you'd prefer to swap for a core i3-530. Otherwise Trademe time!

Hey guys, to clear any confusion it is an X3440 CPU with hyperthreading (better than x3430)
