Decided we have too much storage and stuff we don't need around here, so we should really move on from some of the hardware. What's in this package:

Desktop PC:
  • Tower case Cooler Master Centurion
  • Nine USB 2.0 ports
  • Multicard reader in the front
  • Region unlocked DVD drive
  • Intel Pentium 4 630 3GHz
  • 2GB RAM
  • ASUS P5WD2-Premium motherboard
  • Gigabit ethernet
  • 300GB 3.5" WD internal HDD
  • 500GB 3.5" Seagate internal HDD
  • Windows Home Server v1 DVD (original OEM)

External storage:
  • Seagate Desktop 500GB
  • Seagate Desktop 500GB

Not installed:
  • Seagate 3.5" 200GB internal HDD
I have removed the external drives from the storage pool and leaving Windows Home Server so it's ready to use as soon as plugged in and you can add each of the external drives to the pool as needed/wanted. Or you can do whatever you want with the box.

Offers?

No such thing as too much storage. :P

Well, yes... But since we are using a lot of cloud storage and backup, and the HTPC has 2TB, my desktop has 2.5TB and we have another couple of 500GB drives around...

hi freitasm,

Have you sold this yet?

I wanted to get a nas but it looks like this would do the trick? Would I beable to use it as a central storage for my home wireless network with ps3, tivo, laptop, phone?

What would be a reasonable amount to offer for this? Truthfully, I have no idea?

I also have a brand new tivo if you want to do a swap/cash exchange.

I also have the 'wife to convince' issue but thought I would find out what sort of price I am talking about here before I start my matrimonial negotiations.

by the way, great website!

Not sold yet - if not sold tomorrow evening I am posting on Trade Me... You can use this as storage, automated image backup for your Windows PCs, digital content storage, remote access, etc.

I am thinking around $450+shipping (pickup if in WLG) - the storage alone would be worth around that, plus the OS and the PC itself.

Sorry, we have a TiVo and a HTPC in the lounge so won't be doing a swap.

Cheers

I'd be pretty keen on a couple of 500gb drives if you were willing to split?

Looking for a couple of internal drives but could possibly take the drives out of the external boxes? Probably looking for Sata connections only.

What about the drive you haven't installed?
