Hi all,

I am selling my Samsung Galaxy SII and Asus Transformer TF101 with dock. Both devices are under a year old but have normal wear and tear for their age with small amounts of scuffing on the Transformer but no cracks or visible scratches on either screen. The GSII has a small scratch next to the camera but this does not affect the pictures taken in any way.

Heres what you get:

Asus Transformer Tablet TF101 16GB 9mths old from DSE so still under warranty
Transformer Keyboard dock 9 months old purchased from elive.co.nz

Price: $599 for TF+Dock

Also selling:

Samsung Galaxy SII 8 months old from Telecom so should be under warranty
2xOfficial Samsung 2000maH

Price: $650 with extended batteries, $550 without

Both devices can come with stock or custom firmware, whatever your preference is.

PM if you are interested.

Yes the SGS2 is Quad band HSPA meaning it full supports all NZ networks: 2Degrees, Telecom, Vodafone and Skinny.

Are you interested in selling one of the GS2 extended batteries separately?

I'd be willing to sell both together separate from the phone, by themselves they are not very useful as they come with a special backplate for the extra width and I only have one of those.

It's curious that there's no 'tablet' category on trademe, no-one uses the term 'PDA' anymore.

Yeah that puzzled me. I saw that everyone else was putting them under Laptop so did the same. btw I forgot to mention it comes with a neoprene carry pouch that says 'KEEP CALM AND GOOGLE IT'

Hey Lokhor, completely off topic but I see you have the HTC Sensation and Galaxy S II in your signature. Out of curiosity, which do you prefer?

Cheers, Matt.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Hey Matt,

I switched to the GSII and my Fiancée uses the Sensation now. I think the Sensation is a very good price now ~$500 new but the GSII edges it out in most departments. I really like using the Sensation for it's qHD resolution screen and Sense has nice eye candy but on that same note the GSII screen is much more vibrant and has better viewing angles. I also like to mod the crap out of my phones with custom firmware/themes so the fact that I don't like TouchWiz doesn't really matter as its pretty easy to make everything pretty much like stock AOSP Android (i.e. Galaxy Nexus styles).

If you want to spend ~$600 now I'd probably go for the Galaxy Nexus either way

Great. Thanks for the comparison. I have the sensation and am liking Sense after 2-3 year of stock Froyo -> CM Gingerbread -> Stock ICS. My dad has been mumbling for months about buying an S II so I was interested to see what the comparison was like. I am running Android Revolution HD and generally fool about with different ROM's when I have a spare moment or two...

Cheers, Matt.
