My daughter is Star Trek mad. She has decided she really wants a replica Klingon sword - also known as a bat'leth.

They are rare as hens teeth on trademe - IE none for sale in recent months. Not in high demand I guess :)

They can be purchased overseas (ebay etc) but that makes the whole process akward with currencies and possible customs problems, high shipping costs, as well as the possibility of just losing her hard earnt money to a scammer, so just in case someone on Geekzone has one they no longer want....

If you happen to have one, and want to sell, PM me, or reply to this message with contact details.

This place sells them locally: http://www.trinitytreasures.co.nz/Products (no address that I can see, though, appears to be online-only).

Thanks for that - yes we did discover that site - the only NZ site selling them, but the price is too steep for her - were hoping to get something locally and second hand nearer to $100, but may follow up this link if all else fails.
