Apparently we can no longer buy the original Star Wars movies on dvd anymore. I know Bluray is better, but I need to get them on dvd.

Does anyone have a set in good nick they're willing to part with?

There are a few Star Wars Trilogy boxes on Trade Me from $90 + postage.

I do have the three original episodes here (IV, V and VI) and wouldn't mind selling, possibly with a discount over those prices.

did you want the original ones or the adulterated ones with the new graphics in them

HTPC Intel Pentium G3258 cpu, Gigabyte H97n-wifi motherboard, , 8GB DDR3 ram, onboard graphics. Hauppuage HVR 5500 tuner, Silverstone LC16M case, Windows 10 pro 64 bit using Nextpvr and Kodi

Oh, there are. The original ones are very hard to find though. The more recent ones have additional scenes George Lucas put in there to complement the storyline. Not so much on Episodes V and VI, but more on episode IV.

Unless you've seen the originals in a cinema, it won't make much difference really.

not really. Only for the purists of whom i used to be one. Doesnt really bother me now, but it still does with quite a few people

There have been multiple changes over multiple editions - for example, for Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (released originally in 1977) there were changes made for the 1981 theatrical re-release, 1997 "Special Edition", 2004 DVD release, 2011 Blu-Ray release and the upcoming 3D theatrical re-release.
