Isn't that a copyright breach?

My guess it it will be free as the owner will be forced to hand it over to MS.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Its worth whatever the yearly domain fee is TBH ;)

Bit of a bad time to be selling it as eXDee mentioned....

However someone out there might want a W7 specific site, but could be interesting if MS got wind of it... they shouldnt care in a way as W8 is out but who knows...

Im assuming there wouldnt be any problems with trademark issues and M$ if the domain was not used for anything related to IT.  There is a company in NZ called "windows 2000 ltd" and they are still running today so havent had any trouble, the windows7.co.nz domain could possibly be used by a business manufacturing doors and windows etc... and M$ should not be able to seize the domain if this was the case.

windows7.net.nz is also registered by someone in the IT industry when I checked and its linking to their website, I do not have any connection in any shape or form with them.

7windows might be ok, windows7 is likely to be a trademark problem... but it would probably depend on how you were using it as to whether MS would chase it down

Ive been using it for odd bits and pieces of my own, had it pointed at a development server, nothing commercial.

I wouldn't assume anything, as you know what they say, it makes and 'ass' out of 'u' & 'me'.
Especially as MS has windows8 registered, so I don't think they would have much trouble in getting it back.
