After the following card type to replace a dying (or dead one) in my PVR. It should be able to do HD rendering on the card (like playback Freeview HD broadcasts).

Ideally both analogue VGA and (must have) DVI-D outputs.

Slim pickings on Trademe.

Thanks

HD2400/2600? Why not something with a bit more grunt - even a HD5400 for example?

How much are you willing to spend?

I had a 2400 in there so I thought that it would be easier to keep the same card. A gruntier card isn't really necessary since I have given up trying to watch HD content on the PC and use it only for recording.

But I would pay up to $60 for a decent card.

Guess I could replace the MB etc. but that seems overkill for what the machine does. It still does fine running NPVR under XP!

Alas too late. Got one from Trademe. Now the PC isn't shutting down randomly even though I haven't installed it!
