Hi, Im after a Nokia Lumia 710 in mint condition for aged first smartphone user, plus a "ruggedised" outdoors smartphone like Motorola Defy , also in top condition

Telecom network but I think all Lumia phones are tri-band meaning they work on both our major networks?

Only the Telecom version of Lumia 710 is tri band for 3G support on all 3 carriers in NZ.

Do whatever you want to do man.

How much are you looking to pay for a Lumia 710?

Thanks all

The Xperia Go looks quite good for an IP67 rated phone, however I think the Telecom variant needs to be ST27A for 850mhz, ST27i is 900mhz

Only thing that doesnt sound great is the low screen res 320 x 480 on a 3.5" so maybe web pages will be hard to read?

The Motorola Defy XT looks about right to me but too overpriced, single core proc but fast enough probably and better screen res

For the Lumia 710, send me an offer if you like?

I got a Lumia 800, very nice phone. EOL I guess because of WP7 but perfectly functional enough for a wrinklies first smartphone which is the intended use

Still keen for a "rugged" phone if anyone has or can recommend?
