Hi, I have got a fairly new interchangeable lens SLR camera and only have the kit lens which came with the camera.
Just looking to see if anyone out there has any old lenses or unused ones which they want to let go for cheap. Not looking for any type in particular as am interested in all, primes, zoom etc. i know some of the really old lenses will work on my camera if i buy an adapter :)

Regards.

Um would probably assist to know what type of camera you have?

I'm still using an older Pentax camera and have recently acquired a much older manual focus/fixed focal length 'prime' lens and it's been great.  So, yeah, you can do what you're looking at and 2nd hand can be a much cheaper way of doing this, but there are risks of course over new.

Good luck, enjoy and post here too:

Wow, some nice pics in that post. i do have a nice night landscape of the city / sky tower, taken from Wynyard Quarter in Auckland. Will upload soon.

My camera is a Sony Nex-6, but i can get an adapter for the other lenses.

Cool, what type of kit lens did it come with, and what type of other lens are you after?
