Sony, Dell, ASUS, HP, Compaq and many other manufacturers also used this drive.
Something later would work fine I guess but I'm not sure how these drives are specified. The drive shows up in bios as secondary master. I mention this because I heard laptop drives have no jumpers and require fine soldering to set primary/secondary etc.

I'd like to part with no more than $10 for one of these. PM me or post to this thread, whichever you prefer.
