I have a Dell Precision T5400 with the optional PERC 6/i PCI-e SAS/SATA hardware RAID card (supports RAID 0, 1, 5) and trying to squeeze a little more life/speed out of the old girl before the inevitable purchase/build of my next new CAD box.

Currently it has installed only the standard single SAS drive (a 73GB Fuji MBA3073RC) which is a waste of a good RAID adaptor, so I'm interested in any offers of some old SAS drives you may have lying about unused to kit this box out to RAID5.

Not much of a budget I'm afraid, and I'm seeing them on TradeMe fairly regularly at under $30, but donations will be gladly accepted. Cheers for reading!

I'm out of my mind right now... please leave a message after the shriek...

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.
