Wanting to purchase some Bitcoins or Litecoins without having to go through the rigromol of international money transfers and waiting days for ID to be processed etc.

Payment via bank transfer and bonus points if you're with ASB as that will enable a near instant transaction.

Happy to negotiate on price and quantities. Just remember that we'll be both better of doing a transfer this way and saving on fees etc.

If you have under 10 posts don't be offended if I'm not keen on purchasing from you.

Please PM if you're willing to sell.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.

Yeah i'm aware of them but heard very poor reviews about taking days and days for transactions and registrations to be processed. Also I'm not sure if there are the volumes to match orders?

If I have no luck trading P2P I'll use MtGox.

Just wondering, what were you planning to do with the Bitcoins?

How does Bit Innovate work? In one place it says you need to go into ASB and deposit over the counter, yet the FAQ lists an account number (same format as used for online banking). Can you do it all online? How did you do it?

No you can't do an online bank transfer. You have to physically go into an ASB branch and deposit money into the account number on their website/instruction email.

If you do an EFT they will return the money back to you. They do this to reduce fraud (stolen online banking logins etc)

Thanks for the reply. It seems to be so much hassle to buy these things! :(

Bit Innovate are really good as long as you have an ASB branch near you. Only took a couple of hours after the deposit was made.

But yeah it's easier to do it person-to-person. You could try localbitcoins.com/buy_bitcoins

Made me think of a particular website that takes these as currency when you said that.

Bitcoins have a weird reputation now. Anyone who buys them is treated with suspicion.

It annoys me that people give this suspicion to Bitcoins.

Bitcoins are no worse than cash as far as anonymous payments go. In fact i'm sure more dodgy deals are done with money than bitcoins.

Anyway getting a bit off topic now. Mods, feel free to close this thread :)

I never meant to cast aspersions upon you or your business. Just merely pointing out how they have that reputation, and not saying if it deserves it or not - as I have no idea.

I'm going to purchase after a big crash. It crashed end of last year down to 3 dollars a coin. Imagine buying 100 then and selling at 200 a coin!

History tells us it will probably plummet and the. Shoot back up again. The price has already fallen in the last couple of days. I'm waiting for it to go lower :)

I planned to buy some on Wednesday but didn't get a chance. Now I'm glad that I didn't!
