Hello,

I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon. I am on the road and I brought my travel AC/DC combo adapter but I have left the slim tip that plugs into the laptop at home!

Does anyone know if these things are sold in any retail stores, or how I could get hold of one in Palmerston North in the morning (ideally) or Wellington (if no P/N options). If I can't get the tip I would be happy to purchase a whole new mains charger for the laptop if I can get one in the morning.

(I purchased the laptop via telephone/call centre, so not sure if Lenovo have a retail presence like e.g. HP might. I can get one sent from work but it will be overnight courier at best which means I'm stuck until Thursday if I can't buy one tomorrow)

Thanks,
Blair

You could try the local Jaycar Electronics store.

There are Targus laptop chargers available around - I remember getting one from DSE years ago.

Cheers. My power tip is not pictured but the targus website says it's supported so I will drop in tomorrow and pick one up.
