Posted this on GPForums, but no replies, so thought I'd try here before they go to the recyclers.

Work is getting rid of a number of old switches - Palmerston North office. They all power up OK, so I'm assuming they go.

I don't want to try and ship them.

Not all have mounting hardware.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.

Oooh! Free tech gear in Palmerston North! I might be interested. Not sure what I would use a network switch for in the home, but I'm sure there must be something I could use it for. Any suggestions on how I could use this in a simple home network...?

Not much else other than filling the place with network connections, plus being old server room gear they are a little loud. :-)
