I've been given an old Dell 1300 Inspiron laptop, which I'm planning to clean up and maybe use around the house for some lightweight computing, but it doesn't have a battery or AC charger.  I won't know whether the laptop is in a useable condition until I can power it on, so I don't really want to spend big bucks only to find that the internals are fried.  I wondered whether a Geekzoner might have a compatible battery and charger that they're willing to let go, free or cheap.  If so, send me a PM...
