Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.

How did you find the Envy x2? does it make for a good laptop or is it lacking like the old Netbooks?

HiTM4N: How did you find the Envy x2? does it make for a good laptop or is it lacking like the old Netbooks?

I have an Envy x2, would say it's a good device but the next generation of Atom chips are around the corner, promising much better GPU + CPU perfomance.  There are still some issues with the X2 drivers that haven't yet been fixed - although no deal breakers.  I use mine every day though, it's not as fast as my i7 machine but running Win 8.1 it
's good enough, touch screen and keyboard both have batteries so it goes and goes and goes.  Having no fans in the device is a real plus too, the thing stays cool to the touch the entire time, even when playing hours of Netflix.

Note to OP:  You could probably return the device to the store you got it, if still under warranty.  There is an issue with the headphone jack on the keyboard dock - it's far quieter than the one on the tablet, there may be grounds for them to repair it, when your new device comes back from the store it will still have same issue so grounds for money back (CGA) - especially since it's sold with 'Beats Audio'

Thats interesting I also found the device quiet and thought it was just the device but overall very happy with the machine in fact I am thinking of keeping it for a little while longer

Yeap, It's on all devices...I think I'll wait for the new atom chips to come out, and upgrade to the Envy 'x3' by returning my x2

Ok this is all very well to "chew the fat" (do kiwis know that expression?) talk about taking back etc. But has anyone been able to achieve money back? I would be interested as I paid over $1100 for mine so if I could get my money back I would be quite happy. I imagine one would need confirmation from HP that the problem is not able to be solved. Anyway I would appreciate comments maybe if there is someone who understands the infamous Kiwi CGA I don't my retail knowledge was in  Oz. I understand here it is unbelievable bias to the consumer but thankfully I am on that side of the fence these days!

Just make sure it doesn't run out of warranty

The 920 had a screen protector put on from day 1 and has residided in a case for its short life as far as i know can see the unit could pass as new all functions working comes in the box is was sold in and all the bits that came with it then. It was bought from Noel Leemings
